Privacy Policy

NurseCase is an educational clinical simulation application. This policy explains what information is processed, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

Information we process

We process your account identifier, email and display name when you create an account; selected specialty and experience preferences; simulation responses, AI feedback, scores and practice history; subscription status supplied by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; and limited technical information required to operate and secure the service.

AI processing

Your simulation response and fictional case context are sent securely to our server and then to Google Gemini to generate educational feedback.

How information is used

Information is used to provide authentication, save progress, calculate learning scores, generate AI coaching, verify subscriptions, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve service reliability. NurseCase does not sell personal information.

Service providers

NurseCase uses Firebase for authentication, database, and server functions; Google Gemini for AI-generated educational feedback; RevenueCat for subscription verification; and Apple or Google for payment processing. These providers process information under their own privacy and security terms.

Storage and retention

Your profile and practice history are retained while your account remains active. Local copies may also be stored on your device. When you delete your account in Settings, NurseCase deletes the associated profile, scores, practice history, quota records, Firebase authentication account, and RevenueCat customer data, except information that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record obligations.

Your choices

You may use guest mode, create an account, restore purchases, or permanently delete your account from Settings. Account deletion does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the store where they were purchased.

Children and medical use

NurseCase is intended for nursing learners and professionals and is not directed to children under 13. It is an educational simulation tool, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, or a substitute for facility policy and licensed supervision.
